Overview

GIFT CARD & VOUCHER POLICY

Brand: Hansuli Tagline: Devbhoomi Ki Thaati

Purpose

This Gift Card & Voucher Policy sets out the terms governing the purchase, issuance, redemption, use, cancellation, and validity of Hansuli gift cards and vouchers.

Hansuli may offer gift cards or vouchers in physical, digital, electronic, promotional, or other formats.

Gift cards and vouchers may be offered for personal gifting, festive occasions, celebrations, corporate gifting, promotional campaigns, customer rewards, or other purposes.

What Is A Hansuli Gift Card?

A Hansuli Gift Card is a prepaid value instrument that may be used to purchase eligible Hansuli products or services, subject to the terms applicable to that particular gift card.

Gift cards may be issued in denominations determined by Hansuli.

Examples may include:

  • ₹1,000
  • ₹2,000
  • ₹5,000
  • ₹10,000
  • Custom denominations, where offered

The available denominations may change from time to time.

What Is A Hansuli Voucher?

A Hansuli Voucher may provide either:

  • A fixed monetary value; or
  • A specified discount or promotional benefit.

For example:

₹1,000 Hansuli Gift Voucher

or

₹1,000 OFF on qualifying purchases

The exact nature and conditions of each voucher will be stated at the time of issuance.

A voucher providing a discount is not necessarily equivalent to a prepaid gift card.

Types Of Gift Cards & Vouchers

Hansuli may issue:

4.1 Gift Cards

Prepaid cards or digital credits carrying a specified monetary value.

4.2 Promotional Vouchers

Issued as part of promotional campaigns, customer rewards, giveaways, or special offers.

4.3 Festive Vouchers

Issued during festivals, celebrations, anniversaries, or special Hansuli campaigns.

4.4 Corporate Gift Vouchers

Gift cards or vouchers purchased by companies or organisations for employees, customers, partners, or other recipients.

4.5 Customer Appreciation Vouchers

Special vouchers issued to selected customers at the discretion of Hansuli.

Each type may have different validity and redemption conditions.

Purchase Of Gift Cards

Gift cards may be purchased through Hansuli’s authorised:

  • Website
  • Physical store
  • Official social media channels
  • Customer service channels
  • Corporate sales channels
  • Other authorised platforms

Hansuli may require payment in full before issuing a gift card.

Gift cards will normally be activated only after successful receipt and verification of payment.

Gift Card Denomination

The value of a gift card will be the amount stated on the card, voucher, invoice, or digital communication issued by Hansuli.

The customer should verify the denomination before completing payment.

Once issued, a gift card’s value cannot ordinarily be increased unless Hansuli specifically provides a top-up facility.

Gift Card Validity

Every gift card or voucher may have a specified validity period.

The applicable validity period will be communicated:

  • On the physical card;
  • In the digital voucher;
  • On the purchase confirmation;
  • In the accompanying communication; or
  • Through the applicable promotional terms.

Customers should use the gift card before its expiry.

Expired gift cards or vouchers may not be revalidated unless Hansuli expressly agrees to do so and where permitted under applicable law.

Redemption

A Hansuli Gift Card or Voucher may be redeemed only through the channels specified for that particular card or voucher.

Depending on the product, Hansuli may permit redemption:

  • At Hansuli’s physical store;
  • On the Hansuli website;
  • Through authorised online ordering channels;
  • Through specified customer service channels.

A voucher intended for online use may not automatically be accepted at the physical store, and vice versa.

The applicable redemption channel will be communicated at the time of issuance.

How To Redeem

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Gift card number;
  • Voucher code;
  • PIN, where applicable;
  • QR code;
  • Registered mobile number;
  • Other verification details.

The customer is responsible for keeping the gift card or voucher details secure.

Partial Redemption

Unless specifically stated otherwise, a monetary gift card may be used partially if the purchase amount is lower than the available gift card balance.

For example:

Gift Card Value: ₹5,000 Purchase: ₹3,500 Remaining Balance: ₹1,500

The remaining balance may be used for a future eligible purchase during the card’s validity period.

Certain promotional vouchers may not permit partial redemption.

The specific voucher terms will apply.

Purchase Above Gift Card Value

If the purchase value exceeds the available gift card balance, the customer may pay the remaining amount through another accepted payment method.

For example:

Gift Card Balance: ₹5,000 Purchase Value: ₹8,000 Balance Payable: ₹3,000

The additional amount may be paid through an available payment method accepted by Hansuli.

No Cash Conversion

Unless required by applicable law or specifically stated by Hansuli, gift cards and vouchers:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Cannot be withdrawn as cash;
  • Cannot be converted into bank credit;
  • Cannot be exchanged for another gift card;
  • Cannot be used to purchase cash equivalents.

A gift card is intended to be used toward eligible Hansuli purchases.

No Cash Change

Where a customer uses a gift card for a purchase below the card’s value, Hansuli will not ordinarily provide the unused amount in cash.

The unused balance, where applicable, will remain available on the gift card until expiry.

Gift Card & Discounts

Unless specifically stated otherwise, a gift card may be used as a payment method but does not automatically create an additional discount.

For example, if a product is already on sale, the gift card may be used to pay the applicable sale price, subject to the terms of the promotion.

Promotional vouchers may have separate rules regarding their combination with sale prices or other coupons.

Coupon & Voucher Combination

Unless expressly permitted:

  • Multiple promotional vouchers cannot be combined.
  • Multiple coupon codes cannot be combined.
  • Promotional vouchers cannot automatically be combined with other promotional offers.
  • A gift card does not automatically qualify as a coupon.

The specific terms of the relevant campaign will determine whether benefits can be combined.

Gift Cards For Custom & Made-To-Order Jewellery

Gift cards may be used toward custom or made-to-order jewellery only if Hansuli specifically permits it.

Custom orders may require:

  • Additional advance payment;
  • Separate production terms;
  • Confirmation of the design;
  • Applicable customisation charges.

The Gift Card & Voucher Policy will operate together with Hansuli’s Custom / Made-to-Order Policy.

Gift Cards & Old Silver Exchange

A gift card may be used in an old silver exchange transaction only where Hansuli specifically permits such use.

The value of old silver will continue to be calculated separately under the Hansuli Old Silver Exchange Policy.

A customer should not assume that:

Old Silver Exchange \+ Gift Card \+ Promotional Coupon

can automatically be combined.

Gift Cards & Kitty Plan

Gift cards and vouchers cannot automatically be used for Hansuli Kitty / Jewellery Savings Plan instalments unless specifically permitted under the applicable Kitty Policy or voucher terms.

Gift Cards & Repair Services

Gift cards may be used for repair, resizing, restoration, polishing, plating, or other services only where specifically permitted by Hansuli.

Transferability

Unless a voucher is specifically marked as customer-specific, a Hansuli gift card may generally be gifted or transferred to another person.

However, the person using the gift card must comply with all applicable redemption conditions.

Customer-specific promotional vouchers may not be transferable.

Gift Card Security

Customers are responsible for keeping their gift card, voucher code, PIN, QR code, or other access details secure.

A gift card may be treated as equivalent to a monetary instrument where possession or possession of the code enables redemption.

Customers should not publicly share:

  • Gift card numbers;
  • Voucher codes;
  • PINs;
  • QR codes;
  • Redemption links.

Lost Or Stolen Gift Cards

For physical gift cards, customers should immediately contact Hansuli if the card is lost or stolen.

For digital gift cards, customers should protect the email, mobile number, message, link, or account through which the voucher was issued.

Replacement of a lost or stolen gift card may be possible only where Hansuli can reasonably verify:

  • Original purchaser;
  • Transaction details;
  • Gift card number;
  • Recipient details;
  • Remaining balance;
  • Other relevant information.

Hansuli may not be able to replace an anonymous or untraceable gift card.

Fraudulent Or Unauthorised Use

Hansuli may suspend or cancel a gift card or voucher where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraud;
  • Theft;
  • Unauthorised use;
  • Code manipulation;
  • Duplicate issuance;
  • Payment fraud;
  • Unauthorised resale;
  • Promotional abuse;
  • Other misuse.

Hansuli may request supporting documentation before restoring or replacing a disputed voucher.

Gift Card Activation

A gift card purchased from Hansuli will become usable only after successful payment and activation, where activation is required.

A card that has not been activated cannot ordinarily be redeemed.

Customers should retain the purchase receipt or confirmation until the gift card has been successfully redeemed.

Payment Reversal Or Failed Purchase

If payment for a gift card fails, the gift card will not ordinarily be activated.

If the customer’s account is debited but the gift card is not issued or activated, Hansuli will verify the transaction.

The customer may be asked to provide:

  • Transaction ID;
  • UTR number;
  • Payment date;
  • Amount;
  • Payment screenshot.

The gift card will be issued or the applicable payment issue will be resolved after successful verification.

Refunds On Gift Card Purchases

Gift card purchases are generally non-refundable once the gift card has been successfully issued and activated, except where:

  • Required by applicable law;
  • The gift card was issued incorrectly;
  • A technical error occurred;
  • Hansuli specifically approves the refund;
  • Another statutory or contractual right applies.

A gift card already partially or fully redeemed may not ordinarily be refundable.

Cancellation

A customer may request cancellation of an unused gift card before redemption.

Whether cancellation is permitted will depend on:

  • The type of gift card;
  • Whether it has been activated;
  • Whether it has been redeemed;
  • The applicable campaign terms;
  • Applicable law.

Promotional or complimentary vouchers may be non-cancellable.

Refund Of Purchases Paid Using A Gift Card

If an eligible purchase paid using a gift card is cancelled or refunded, Hansuli may refund the eligible amount back to the original gift card or issue an equivalent store credit, subject to the applicable refund policy.

Cash refunds will not ordinarily be provided for the portion originally paid through a gift card unless required by applicable law.

Gift Card Balance

Where balance tracking is available, customers may request information regarding the remaining balance through an authorised Hansuli channel.

Hansuli may require verification before disclosing gift card balance information.

Customers should retain their gift card number or voucher details for future balance enquiries.

Corporate Gift Vouchers

Corporate customers purchasing gift vouchers in bulk may be subject to separate:

  • Pricing;
  • Minimum quantity;
  • Payment;
  • Validity;
  • Delivery;
  • Branding;
  • Redemption;
  • Cancellation

terms agreed between Hansuli and the corporate purchaser.

Promotional Vouchers

Promotional vouchers may have additional restrictions, including:

  • Minimum purchase value;
  • Specific product categories;
  • One-time use;
  • Customer-specific eligibility;
  • Maximum discount;
  • Limited validity;
  • Non-transferability;
  • Non-combinability with other offers.

The terms communicated with the promotional voucher will prevail for that campaign.

Voucher Misuse

Hansuli may cancel or refuse to honour a voucher where it reasonably believes that the voucher was obtained or used through:

  • Fraud;
  • Unauthorised distribution;
  • Coupon-generation abuse;
  • Multiple fake accounts;
  • Technical exploitation;
  • Misrepresentation;
  • Other prohibited activity.

Website & Technical Errors

If a technical or system error results in an incorrect gift card value, duplicate voucher, incorrect discount, or other apparent error, Hansuli reserves the right to investigate and correct the error.

Where appropriate, Hansuli may suspend the affected voucher while verification is conducted.

Expiry

Once a gift card or voucher expires, the remaining value or promotional benefit may no longer be available for redemption, subject to applicable law.

Customers are responsible for using their gift cards within the stated validity period.

Hansuli is not automatically responsible for reminding customers before expiry.

Product Availability

A valid gift card does not guarantee the availability of any particular jewellery design.

Products remain subject to:

  • Stock availability;
  • Production capacity;
  • Customisation requirements;
  • Applicable product terms.

Jewellery Exchange & Gift Cards

Where a jewellery purchase made using a gift card is subsequently eligible for exchange, the exchange will be governed by Hansuli’s applicable Exchange Policy.

The gift card payment does not automatically create a right to cash refund.

Promotional Gifts & Free Vouchers

Vouchers issued free of charge as part of a promotion, giveaway, contest, customer appreciation campaign, or marketing activity may have conditions different from purchased gift cards.

Such vouchers may:

  • Have shorter validity;
  • Be non-transferable;
  • Be one-time use;
  • Have a minimum purchase requirement;
  • Have product exclusions;
  • Have no cash value.

Customer Responsibility

Before purchasing or redeeming a gift card or voucher, customers should check:

  • Value;
  • Validity;
  • Eligible products;
  • Redemption channel;
  • Expiry date;
  • Minimum purchase requirement;
  • Exclusions;
  • Transferability;
  • Other applicable terms.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights available to customers under applicable Indian law.

Where applicable law provides a customer with rights relating to gift cards, vouchers, refunds, expiry, or other matters, such rights will prevail.

Policy Changes

Hansuli may update this Gift Card & Voucher Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • New products or services;
  • New redemption methods;
  • Changes in technology;
  • Changes in payment systems;
  • Legal or regulatory requirements;
  • Changes to business operations.

The latest version published by Hansuli will apply to future transactions.

Gift cards and vouchers are not automatically exchangeable for cash. 4. Promotional vouchers may have additional restrictions. 5. Expired vouchers may not be accepted. 6.
